Gore's Nursery

I love, love, love Gore's. Best nursery in Jacksonville. My favorite thing to do is put on some headphones and browse around, picking out my favorite pretties. Not only is the property fun to walk but there is such a huge variety of everything - flowers, plants, bushes, trees, vines, herbs, succulents. And you simply cannot beat the prices. There's also a resident kitty who is sweet as can be. Hands down my favorite place to spend time ❤️

As long as you are all for helping yourself this is the place for you. The teens working now are not helpful and would rather socialize and gossip. Not very friendly. There use to be a young lady that worked there who was probably in her late 20s with blonde hair who is great and nice, she may still work there but I never get a chance now days of seeing a friendly face at this nursery. Very disappointing when I use to recommend them to everyone especially for fruit trees. Maybe a revamp of staff could help them. TBH I’d rather walk eat your yard jax, powells nursery or, plant place in the rain than go to a nursery where southern hospitality has just left them especially when they are not a big chain nursery. My rating is two stars because if you go when they have their succulents full inside to building a $2 succulent you can’t beat and they use to be my favorite nursery.

Prices are great here. All employees were very nice and knowledgeable. One of the biggest nurseries I've been to in Jacksonville that seems catered more towards home gardeners. They've got a great selection from pansies, Lantana, hibiscus all the way to fruit and other assorted trees. It's a place my grandfather used to go to as well so obviously they are doing something right. :) They keep their Facebook updated with inventory and prices as well which is handy if you don't want to take a trip that day. If I could give more stars I would!
